Your account
Do I need an account?
No. Scores, fixtures, results, tables and news are open to everyone. An account lets you choose your favourite clubs and competitions, follow matches, make predictions, earn Game Points, join groups and talk in match rooms.
I forgot my password
Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. We send a code to the email address of your account, and you choose a new password with it.
How do I change my username, picture or country?
Signed in, open Settings. Edit Profile holds your username, bio, country and picture.
How do I delete my account?
In the Motexiz app: Profile, then the menu, then Delete account. The screen lists what is deleted and what is kept, and lets you export a copy of your data first. Deleting is permanent.
If you can't use the app, email info@motexiz.com from the email address of your account and ask for it to be deleted.
Your football
How do I choose my clubs and competitions?
Open Favorites. The clubs and competitions you pick lead the rail at the top of the site, come first in your matches and shape your news.
What does following a match do?
Use the star on a match to follow it. A followed match stays with you until two days after it has been played, and it is one of the matches your alerts are about. You'll find them all under Followed Matches.
How do alerts work?
In Notifications you choose which match moments Motexiz alerts you about: lineups, kick-off, goals, red cards, half time and the second half, and the final result. They cover the matches you follow and the matches of your favourite clubs. The switches belong to your account, so they are the same on the website and in the app.
Can I change the theme, language or time zone?
Yes, from the menu behind the three dots at the top of the page. Kick-off times follow the time zone you choose; by default they follow your device.
Predictions and Game Points
How do predictions work?
Before a match kicks off, call it: home win, draw or away win. One call per match, and it can't be changed once it is in. It settles on the score after 90 minutes, and a correct call is worth 1 Game Point.

Are Game Points money?
No. Game Points are a score. There is nothing to buy or stake, and they can't be withdrawn, exchanged or sold. No prediction on Motexiz ever costs anything.
How do I play with friends?
Create a group in Game Points and share its invite code. Friends join with the code and you see a table of your own.
Match rooms
What is a match room?
Each match has a room where signed-in fans talk while it is on. Messages are temporary: they are not kept once the room closes.
What's allowed is in our Community Guidelines.
Someone posted something they shouldn't have
Open the message's options and choose Report, with a reason. The report is kept with a copy of the message, so it still counts after the room closes. If something needs urgent attention, email info@motexiz.com as well.
Scores and news
A score or a detail looks wrong
Match data comes from our football data providers and live scores can take a moment to catch up. If something is still wrong after the match, tell us which match and what you expected at info@motexiz.com.
Where do the news stories come from?
From football publishers, ESPN among them. Each headline keeps its source and opens the story on the publisher's own site.
The app
Is there a Motexiz app?
The Android app is coming to Google Play. There isn't an iPhone app yet. See Download the App.
